It’s either you Add Bank or You Add Card. once any of these is done and confirmed,then we say your PayPal account is verified. Like you already know, paypal don’t accept any other bank in Nigeria except for Payoneer, and that’s why you see searches such as “How To Verify Paypal With Payoneer Bank Account” How to withdraw from PayPal to Payoneer bank in Nigeria and many other similar searches increase everyday.

Wither you verify your PayPal account with your credit or debit Card or you used Bank for verification, All the same, your status remain verified. The only difference is when you verify with payoneer bank, you can withdraw from your PayPal account directly to the payoneer bank but when you add and confirm cards which aren’t supported for withdrawal, you won’t be able to withdraw to such cards as there won’t be option for that.

Formally, Payoneer banks works for almost all type of paypal verification but these days, i have noticed that it only work for US paypal. You can experiment this yourself if you’ve gotten some doubts. Create a US paypal and account from any other country like UAE, Lesotho or South Africa.

Link your bank with any of these countries and you will get the error message to try again later and even if you try again you will keep getting same error message.

That same bank that doesn’t work there with the error to try again, when linked with your US paypal it goes without issues. What am saying in essence is that, If you aren’t using USA PayPal account, don’t border trying to link payoneer bank because it won’t work.

Before you even think of How To Verify Paypal With Payoneer Bank Account, I expect you to be a payoneer account holder. Because there’s no way you can archive that without having your payoneer account. Let’s assume you don’t have one for now. Below is the step to create payoneer account in Nigeria.

How to Open Payoneer Account In Nigeria Free.

the payoneer Website here and click on the Sign Up button

From the next page, Fill in the necessary details which is advisable to match with any of your ID Cards. Select your account type as personal or Business and then enter your date of birth.

Enter your country, your address, City, zip code and phone number.

Fill out every details correctly. Your password, security question and answer, Your Issuing country ID, ID type and ID number.

From the next page, fill in your bank account details. (Your normal Nigeria Bank)

Don’t mind any of my above details, it’s only used for the purpose of this tutorial. Every bank have their own swift code. You Google your bank swift code by making search like “Zenith Bank swift Code”

Now wait for them to review and approve your account which usually takes around 24hrs.

When your account is approved, they will send you an email message letting you know that your account is ready for use.

How to Verify Payoneer Account

Having Created Your payoneer Account, You may need to verify it for future reference.

How To Verify Paypal With Payoneer Bank Account.

With the below steps, you will be able to link payoneer with PayPal account.

• Login to your payoneer account
• Figure your payment bank details
• Login your USA paypal account
• Link and Verify your payoneer account

Step1; Login to your Payoneer account and click on Global payments you will see that when you click on Receive option.

You can also find the Global payment service from your Payoneer dashboard when you login.

Now when you click on the Global payment, it will show up with different currencies and banks. Since we need USA bank just select the USD option and you will see your bank details

All what you need from this bank details is your Routing Number and Account number having copied those two details, Now let’s move over to paypal.

Step2: Login to your PayPal account and click on LINK card or Bank

Select the option to Link Bank since you’ve gotten our payoneer bank to connect with your paypal

Click on Link Bank again for the Last time

Now you will see list of banks from USA but since we’ve got no physical bank to link, just select the option that says I have different Banks

From the next page you can now fill in your bank details. Don’t select savings instead select the Checking Option because that’s the type of bank payoneer provides. After that fill in your Routing number and Account number

After filling in your details, you can now save your settings. And paypal will Debit your USA bank with some little amount which you’re gonna use for confirmation.

Just click on Wallet from your PayPal menu and select the Bank you just added then you will see the option to confirm Bank.

When you click on Confirm Bank a new page will show up. From this page, enter the amount which PayPal Debited to your Payoneer

To see the money debited to your Payoneer by PayPal, click on transactions from your Payoneer dashboard and you will see it in this form.

What you need is 0.09 and 0.20. Once you impute this two amounts in the verification space and Click on verify in your PayPal account. that’s all.

With this Your Payoneer bank has been fully connected to your PayPal account.

Note: The digits might not appear instantly on your Payoneer bank. When such happens, you need to wait till you get it transfered to your Payoneer before you complete the verification. This might take upto 24 to 48hrs in most cases

Transfer Money from PayPal To Payoneer Bank

From Your PayPal login click on Transfer Money usually under your available balance.

Enter the amount you Wanna send having selected your payoneer bank above, and continue to finish the transaction.

You will get credited within 24 to 48hrs when it’s not weekends. That’s for working days. If it’s weekend it may take longer.

Payoneer is Showing Error why linking to USA PayPal Account?

There are two major reasons why your payoneer linking with paypal keep showing error even while linking to US paypal.

• Bank Type: There are two different types of banks by payoneer. One is federal Community savings Bank and the other is First Century Bank. Around 2018, payoneer stopped issuing the federal community savings bank and now they issue First Century bank.

  Every newly made payoneer account is expected to have the First century Bank and it’s the only one that works with payoneer to PayPal linking as of now. If your Payoneer bank name is Federal community savings, don’t be surprised at any error message you get while connecting that bank because i learned it don’t work with paypal anymore. You need the First Century Bank issued to every new account..

• Phone confirmation: if your phone number is not confirmed, it also cause this error while linking your account with payoneer. Therefore, i will advise you verify your phone number before connecting payoneer bank.
